Individual Social Justice Coaching

Move from feeling stuck to feeling like the star stuff you are

Through Social Justice Coaching you can become:

  • Your biggest, bravest self

  • A connected co-conspirator for justice

  • Relaxed and light of heart, knowing that you are healing what’s been broken

Even if you’ve been involved in social change for years, I can help you move more deeply into your stretch zone. You can finally…

Have robust, honest, and meaningful relationships, across difference, as you partner to get free from the oppressive conditioning we’ve all been steeped in.

Be an accountable accomplice and share your real self instead of walking on eggshells.

Listen when you’ve been wrong and apologize with sincerity and gratitude for the generosity of being given such tender feedback.

Keep on going for the long haul! Because you also want to get free

“Ready to get to the core of it? To move deeply and practically toward working ‘out loud’ at your purpose? Michelle’s executive coaching will get you there! She has a tender/fierce way of walking alongside you. She attends to the multiple ways of knowing, learning, and healing. She’s damn good.

Her approach has truly been transformational, supporting me to live into my purpose and values fully, with accountability to the vision of movements for justice and ecological health.”

Know how excellent and just right you are, so that when you do make a mistake, it no longer knocks you from your center, but instead falls into perspective as what it is: totally human.

Some questions you might have around coaching—

  • Coaching is not therapy, but being attentive to your feelings is certainly part of the work we’ll do together.

Coaching is client-driven, future-focused, and works by surfacing your own wisdom and strengths.

I partner with you to determine how best to use your skills and develop action plans that make your visions real. You are the magic ingredient.

  • You’re the only one who can answer that question, but I recommend signing up for a minimum of 12 sessions if you’re able.

Like many other modalities for change, coaching works best when you commit to doing a body of work over time.

Clients who make a solid six month or year-long commitment to coaching are often able to make deep, impactful changes in their lives. You get to decide.

  • That depends on your capacity, goals, bandwidth, and budget. Lots of folks enjoy the accountability of weekly sessions.

Others find that a bi-weekly schedule gives them some time to reflect and experiment between sessions.

And some folks simply want to touch in monthly to keep on track with their goals. Like everything with coaching, it’s up to you, of course.

  • My specialty is working with white women at the intersection of sexism and racism, but I’m happy to work with folks from other backgrounds and on more generalized Life, Leadership, and Executive Coaching goals when desired.

If you are resonating with my offerings, please reach out!

“We are beginning to understand that the world is always being made fresh and never finished; that activism can be the journey rather than the arrival.”
