Nourishing Ourselves for the Long Haul: A Drop-in Group for White Women in Social Justice
Move From Overwhelm Into Aligned Action
This group is designed to help self-identified white women set deeply personal goals for how we engage in justice work. In the midst of these changing times, it’s crucial that we nourish our nervous systems so that we can keep coming back to the work that is ours to do. I’ll provide a facilitated space for us to practice deep listening, somatic tools, and our skills to build unity, accountability, and power while we face the excitement and peril of living through these times.
Wednesdays, 11:30-1pm Pacific
Via Zoom. Feel free to bring lunch!
Drop-in is fine. Or come to them all:)

If you want to go far, go together.”

How It Works
I facilitate the creation of a container for strong, trust-worthy relationships that can withstand our learning curves. We use deep listening with one another so we can honestly show our struggles while simultaneously reaching for what is true and powerful about ourselves.
Together, we co-create a sense of being “in it” with a committed crew of white women ready to do the work of organizing our world in a way that is good for everyone. We use our connections to foster a supportive network of accountability so we can live into our callings as justice-cultivating actors in the world. Knowing you aren’t acting alone is powerful beyond imagining.

“Michelle is one of the best facilitators I have come across.
Her work in creating community with the Study, Feel, Act Racial Justice Study Group that I participated in during several months of the pandemic and social uprisings made for a welcoming and challenging place to face all my complex thoughts and feelings. She navigated conversations that arose from different experiences within our group with seeming ease. Reciprocity was at the fore, right along with accountability.”
